The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received a loan from the World Bank towards the cost of Karachi Water & Sewerage Services Improvement Project (KWSSIP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the Contract Package: Supply of SCADA Equipment of Flow Meters under SOP-1, KWSSIP.
Project Implementation Unit (PIU) KWSSIP, Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) (the Purchaser) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Contract Package: Supply of SCADA Equipment of Flow Meters under SOP-1, KWSSIP.
Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” (July 2016, Revised November 2017, August 2018 & November 2020) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Office of the Project Director, Project Implementation Unit (KWSSIP), KW&SC during office hours [0900 to 1700 hours, Monday to Friday] at the address given below.
The bidding document (English) may be purchased by interested Bidders upon:
- Submission of a written application to the address below.
- Payment of a nonrefundable fee of PKR 5000 (Pay Order in favour of Project Director-KWSSIP).

Bid Submission Deadline:
- Delivery Address: As provided below.
- Deadline: 18/08/2025 before 1530 hours.
- Late Bids will be rejected.
- Bid Opening: 18/08/2025 at 1530 hours (public opening).
Bid Security Requirement:
- PKR 5,300,000 (mandatory for all Bids).
Beneficial Ownership Disclosure:
- Successful bidder must disclose beneficial ownership as per World Bank requirements.
